It's been a month since I last wrote. This blog has not been high on my list of priorities lately - I wonder why? The couple weeks before I had her, I just didn't feel like writing... and these last almost 2 weeks have been spent getting used to having a baby in the house and trying to fit in any quality time with Chris that I can get without her crying lol...! :D
Ivanya Elyse Peel was born November 17th at 10:58am. She weighed 7.9 lbs and was 20 1/4 inches long. The worst part was the 2-3 hrs of Pitocin before the epidural... otherwise everything went very smoothly. I only pushed for 20 min before she was born! Chris was there through the whole thing... he never left me. He's wonderful. : )
Ivanya is the most beautiful baby girl ever. I would say that, being her mother, but she's perfect. We saw pics of some pretty hideous babies at the birthing class we went to! She didn't have any bruising or anything. Her head wasn't wierd-shaped. She wasn't all purple and blue and red when she was born... She was just her little pretty self from the start. : )
I can't wait to see what she looks like as she gets older. Everyone says she looks like her daddy... and they're right. I found Chris' baby book when I was clearing out his things from his old dresser so I could put her stuff in it. I'm gonna put some of the pics on here when I get a chance, to compare her pics to. : )
